An Evening of Active Receiving

Sexological Bodywork focuses on learning through engaging the body. This develops the ability to experience more sensation and intimacy – to feel more, connect more, and have more choice in how we want to be in the world. Active receiving is taking charge of your own pleasure by actively engaging the body with breath and movement, and finding simple language for what you want.

Deej and Uma’s workshops offer a safe and friendly place to develop embodiment skills. In this workshop you will learn the skills of receiving more fully from yourself, as well as from the other people in your life. It is an experiential workshop for anyone with an interest in sexuality, and how to more actively engage your body and awareness in erotic practice.

This is a fully clothed workshop.

Thursday January 9, 2014, from 7pm to 9pm

Somatic Approaches to Ejaculation Choice – An Afternoon of Professional Development

One of the most common challenges clients present in relation to sex, is around men’s ejaculation. This professional development session presents cornerstone principles for supporting clients in learning ejaculation choice.

By the end of the training you will have:
· Discussed factors contributing to early or premature ejaculation
· Clarified what you need to know in order to work effectively with clients who want to develop greater choice around ejaculation
· Examined how early or premature ejaculation fits into the wider context of the client’s life
· Watched a demonstration of a somatic sex educator teaching ejaculation choice skills
· identified specific skills to pass on to your clients

This professional development training is for anyone whose clients bring their erotic content to their sessions, including counsellors, psychotherapists, doctors, somatic sex educators, sex workers, and Tantra teachers. The skills are transferable and are useful for practitioners who do not use touch in their work, as well as those who do.

Friday January 10, 2014 from 2pm to 5pm
